if the mitre fits
From THE BAHAMA JOURNAL:
In a televised service from St. Matthew's, Nassau, olast Sunday, Archbishop Drexel Gomez called for Anglican to hear the call of Jesus like the St. Matthew and follow Him. The Archbishop however noted that Sexual immorality and Worldliness in The Bahamas are things that bring great concern to him.
" We have allowed our society to accept worldly values and worldly standards…and when we are going with the crowd we are going into the wrong direction. We are having (in the Bahama) a state of affairs in which it is alright to be immoral, and if we don’t change, it would get worse, before it gets any better!" The Archbishop exclaimed.
Archbishop Gomez admonished members of the church to allow each person to contribute to put on a Christ likeness.
"Let the words of Jesus cause us to live Christ like lives and let this Christ likeness be found at home and at work." The Archbishop noted.

Careful, now, MP...in today's PC prison, them words about scribes and pharisees in a negative comment might get you branded 'anti-semitic' or an accusation of being exclusivistic, since you left out them Sad You sees.
Did I say they were Jewish scribes and pharisees? I think not.
MP, you're so anti-semitic and exclusivistic for leaving out those sad whatevers. I mean, really.
Excuse me, you Biblically illiterate lot. The passage in the Bible that this alludes to only mentions scribes and pharisees. IT DOES NOT MENTION SAD ULYSSES, AT ALL!
Oh MP
You are such a literalist
Elsewhere the Sadducess come inta the pitchah...just ask George Bush.
You are spot on, of course, I was jess funnin witcha.
The thing is I'm a Biblically based heretic - in my own way as bad as the fundies.
Brilliant, absolutely brilliant image, MP! I'm sending this along to everyone I know.
Now ... what do you reckon Jesus is saying to our House of Bishops?
