OF COURSE, I COULD BE WRONG...
AN OUTSIDER GOD BLOG.
Where the lunatics rave.
"... a kind of dangerous, endless recess in a global schoolyard."
(Archbishop Niederauer)
If you think you don't belong, you belong here.
So keep fightin' for freedom and justice, beloveds, but don't you forget to have fun doin' it. Lord, let your laughter ring forth. Be outrageous, ridicule the fraidy-cats, rejoice in all the oddities that freedom can produce. And when you get through kickin' ass and celebratin' the sheer joy of a good fight, be sure to tell those who come after how much fun it was.I don't know about you,
but I practice a disorganized religion.
I belong to an unholy disorder.
(Kurt Vonnegut 1922 - 2007)
"As usual, the most objectionable material can be found at the MadPriest"
(Greg Griffiths)
According to Rome, I'm a layman. We have to talk about that first
(Saint Robert Runcie)
Its that sort of complacency that makes having notorious, inflamatory, outspoken activists such as Elizabeth Kaeton, Louie Crew and Madpriest evil necessities. (DBW)
Comments will stay up if they are funny, interesting, completely psycho or any permutation of the three.
OF COURSE, I COULD BE WRONG... reserves the right to employ sarcasm, innuendo and other low forms of wit.
OF COURSE, I COULD BE WRONG... will not knowingly make fun of the divine or those less powerful than the writers of this blog. Please note: this does not mean we will never refer to divine things in our attempts at humour.

It's their generic "Happy Holidays" logo. Mouse over the graphic but don't click, and the explanation will pop up.
Yup, 'pisco's got it about right. They do a series of these every year - look here for last year's set. I think they do them on the several days leading up to Christmas.
Yes, yes, yes...
But what does it mean?
Google kills the bugs?
Hooray for kinky?
Yes, yes, yes...
But what does it mean?
If this is the first day, it looks to be the beginning of decorating the logo for the season. The one shot from the canon appears to be trailing holiday ribbon. We may understand more mañana.
Just a guess, but maybe it has to do with their recently accepted application to bid for cellular spectrum?

Maybe a "shot across the bow" of the telcos? Or perhaps that is reaching.
You're all wrong. Its a subversive statement about countries that still have the death penalty.
Wait, are we deconstructing a Google doodle? In the Big Picture it's a whimsical doodle that has elements of what could be an exploding New Years noisemaker thingie, a cannon, ribbons galore, and maybe a badminton shuttle at the end. It's not supposed to MEAN anything. It's a holiday doodle from Google), or so I take it.
Maybe it's a Christmas Cracker!
I saw that and wondered.
Maybe today is officially "Circus Appreciation Day."
Although, I suppose that the crowd around here would already be celebrating such a significant day.
I vote for the idea that the stick figures are decorating the Google emblem for some generic holiday. Call Bill O'Reilly, someone, and tell him that The War on Christmas continues!
Clearly it's meant to confuse mad priests.
And it has deep canonical significance.
MP as I recall from years gone by they are decorating the Google logo and come Tuesday you will most likely have the Google with a big red bow looking like a package.
Oh, Paul, A.! That's truly funny!
If you click on the logo, you see a depiction of all the graphics so far in the series.

if you go here, and just change the numbers in the url to lower numbers (where it says 13) you can see all the different scenes they have had through the years
