In a surprising, but logically consistent, move the Archbishop Of Canterbury has ex-communicated absolutely everybody except a few of his special friends. The emails were sent out this morning.
This has been expected for some time in the Anglican Church. What is unexpected about his announcement is that he has included every other denomination presently operating in England. Bishops, priests, pastors and ministers - all have been told to "pack up your stuff and get out of here."
"This is my turf," Bishop Williams says in the email, "And I ain't sharing it anymore."
The last religion correspondent left in England, Ruth Gledhill of "The Times," told OCICBW... that she thinks this is a very good move by Williams.
"With the Church Of England down to just himself and three, long retired, Oxford University chaplains, and with all the other churches booted out completely, Rowan should finally realise his dream of a united church," she said.
In Rome, the Pope is reported to be a little disappointed but he has agreed to get his people out as it will be a lot better than having "a load of Church of England poofters" destroying the traditional family and causing wars in the Middle East.
Jonathan Sacks, the Chief Rabbi of English Judaism said, "Rowan Williams? Do I know him?"

And maybe if ++Williams holds onto the Faith Once Delivered to the Saints, he will rise again and sit at the right hand of Ruth Gledhill in glory everlasting.

Rowan was terribly put off to learn that the proposed title of his autobiography, "Dumber and Dumber" has already been used.

In a new development, two of the three not excommunicated have asked to be included in the mass dismissal. This leaves N. T. Wright and Dr. Williams alone in the CoE clergy.

I am a member of the church of england and if being inclusive and living by the tenets taught by Jesus is wrong then the Arch Bish
can excommunicate me.
In fact if the church continues as it does, harping on about totally irrelevant twaddle such as who you can and can't love instead of trying to end starvation,warfare,and the destruction of our little planet then I will welcome my excommunication, which should arrive imminently.
