It is absolutely certain that Mark Brewer is now threatening other bloggers. Without prejudice legal advice indicates that he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Also he is sending the threats out personally and not via a solicitor.
However, I think it is time for PLAN B.

I would like friends of Dave Walker, and those interested in stopping bloggers from being bullied by people with money, to cut and paste this post onto their own blogs,
AND/OR
send an email to Mark Brewer with nothing more than the campaign words:

And if you're a little scared by all this just remember a very good man died because SPCK failed after it had been taken over by Mark Brewer's business venture.

Well, since he's not on my approved Senders list, he'll just get a note telling him that he's not allowed to send ME e-mail without my express permission---so will he please fill out a request? ;-)

I've copied Dave's blog posts to my blog. I'm still pretty new at this and so I didn't do it very well, and the format is screwed up, but the text is all there. I've "archived" it by dating it 1/1/08, but it's not hard to find. On to the e-mail....
Somebody said Mr. Brewer is a graduate of Oral Roberts University? And he accused Da'ved of "unChristian behavior"? Chortle chortle.
Having always been an admirer of Mark Brewer I have personally emailed him my support in this matter, and shall instruct my staff and entire congrgaion to do likewise. What's more shall be advising them to do so repeatedly (at least 5 times/hour) to ensure both he and his servers feel the warmth of our love.
Gotta love the Streisand Effect. I told him as much.

Actaully isnt brewer@bplaw.com his work email and not his personal email?? After all its the one lsited on his public company website isnt it? and his St stephens website - so that would mean he had originally put this email address into common domain usage by personal choice wouldn't it?
I love the troll's idea. Send an e-mail every five minutes. What will his inbox look like.

has published his own cease and desist order. Gutsy guy. Have a look, and if this is reposted in lots of places it will make it harder for him to be singled out. It's worked with the Dave Walker posts - dozens have blogged but nobody has been pursued - the only exception is Sam Norton at Elizaphanian. Please do get behind him.
