OF COURSE, I COULD BE WRONG...
AN OUTSIDER GOD BLOG.
Where the lunatics rave.
"... a kind of dangerous, endless recess in a global schoolyard."
(Archbishop Niederauer)
If you think you don't belong, you belong here.
So keep fightin' for freedom and justice, beloveds, but don't you forget to have fun doin' it. Lord, let your laughter ring forth. Be outrageous, ridicule the fraidy-cats, rejoice in all the oddities that freedom can produce. And when you get through kickin' ass and celebratin' the sheer joy of a good fight, be sure to tell those who come after how much fun it was.I don't know about you,
but I practice a disorganized religion.
I belong to an unholy disorder.
(Kurt Vonnegut 1922 - 2007)
"As usual, the most objectionable material can be found at the MadPriest"
(Greg Griffiths)
According to Rome, I'm a layman. We have to talk about that first
(Saint Robert Runcie)
Its that sort of complacency that makes having notorious, inflamatory, outspoken activists such as Elizabeth Kaeton, Louie Crew and Madpriest evil necessities. (DBW)
Comments will stay up if they are funny, interesting, completely psycho or any permutation of the three.

To be non-Oxbridgham in the UK is indeed a disadvantage, but you've got to let it go. It may be necessary for advancement, but, okay, this is mean, but: to covet advanement is capitalist.
We'll all hug you later. Best wishes on your next meal, etc...
(yes, I get it)
The clue is in the title. Our bishops are chosen by other bishops for lots of reasons accept their ability to be pastors. Very few of them have extensive experience as parish priests. Most of them, including the ABC, have very little knowledge of the real world outside academia. I do not want advancement to high office because I wouldn't like it - what I would like is a job.
