I wish performers in the British and American Christian
ghetto, musical scene were as talented and uncringeworthy
as this Norwegian lady. She comes across as a mash up of
Dolly Parton and Gillian Welch - good, honest country
singing which is unashamedly about Jesus yet so down to
earth that nobody's embarrassment meter is going to click
off zero. Just like the old timers and black gospel singers
back in the day.
Of course, to the shallow minded like myself, it really
helps that she is also an A list babe.

Because I don't usually like the modern take on Christian music I seldom listen to it. I like the old hymns and especially the old gospel ones so with your description I decided to listen.
