If only it was so easy. The real shocking thing is that these are basically good people who got it so desperately wrong. Hannah Arendt was right about the banality of evil.
You miss the point, Erika. It's not whether or not this particular was guilty that matters. It is the fact that, being dead, he would make a perfect candidate for deflection to get the media away from the abuse story. It's what our politicians do all the while.
