Based solely on a virtual friendship and a rather grainy blog photo taken well over 20 years ago, this is how I imagine our very own soppy sheila (Cathy) if she was a dog.

I did have one friend in Australia who always used to ask me if I was a gay man trapped in a woman's body, Dah-veed, so maybe so.
Anyway, it's definitely a bearded collie. I looked the breed up and they are apparently known for what the website referred to as "delayed maturity". Perhaps this is what Mad Priest was getting at? ...
Either way, it's as Ellie says, adorabuhls - a lovely dog.
