Sex & God & Rock & Roll
awwwwwww!!!! What a sweetie!!!Ellie had a post on her blog not so long ago saying black cats in rescue centres get overlooked a lot because people are superstitious about the colour. How mindless is this. Paco is so lovely.
Beautiful kitty! Welcome, Paco.
Jonathan, all my photos are copyrighted. I'll see you in court. Cathy, Paco had an all-black brother or sister at the shelter, and Alison was tempted to take the two kittens, but she resisted. She decided that two cats and two dogs are enough.
I will plead insanity.Yours.
Curses! Foiled again!
This little guy could be a cousin to my two--Doc and Boo. My vet cautioned me to never leave them out at night because of stupid superstitious idiots who might do them harm. Look at that sweet face. Why would anyone ever want to hurt him?
Too, too precious.Yes, Cathy. As soon as I saw the picture, I was really happy that another black cat has been adopted.
I want Paco's little sibling!! Oh, I hope she/he finds a good home.
!Gatito negrito bonito! Most of the black cats I've known have been sweeties (well, except one I know now, who's just Krazy. But still fairly sweet.)
This is one outstanding kitty! While I was growing up I had an all black cat. He was one of the most wonderful cats I ever had,
I love that she has several white hairs on her chest. That way she's not totally black. So no bad luck! ;-)
That is a real cute kitten.
Awwwww...I'm usually not sloppy but this one really got to me.Reminded me of a kitten I had when I was little--Blackie (well, I was only 5). I loved her a lot but she ran away or was killed or kidnapped or chased by neighbors one evening and we never saw her again. I sure missed that cat, and her sister was devastated.May Paco have a long and lovely life!--sheila--
I need to get ma' rear in gear and adopt a pair of (or three) kittens, being catless at the moment. My well loved 22 year old Natasha (tabby) died about 9 months ago. I look for black kittens in homage to my childhood cat (who was brown-black in strong sunlight, "black" for all purposes). Last time I adopted two non-sibs of approximately the same age, one of them black.
