  4. There was never an ungorgeous pic of Curtis while he was a working actor, Lois.

  5. I'm so pleased you ran something on Tony Curtis and especially that there is a clip of Some Like It Hot to go with it, Mad Priest :-)

If you tell me that was a surprise I just won't believe you :-)

  7. No, course I'm not surprised. But very pleased to see it. He was more beautiful in Spartacus (and I love that scene where Laurence Olivier has a go at wooing him, it's fabulous), but he was never so funny and brilliant as he was in Some Like It Hot.

  8. He was more beautiful in Spartacus

I suppose that depends upon the eye of the beholder.

  9. He was admittedly spectacularly beautiful in Some Like It Hot too and had a damn good pair of legs, quite unfairly.

  10. Shalom, Tony. Rest in the arms of the Holy One.

  11. Shalom indeed. And thanks, MP, for the clip of Tony in "Some Like It Hot" --- one of the most memorable performances in film history, in what's considered the greatest film comedy (from the U.S., at least) of all time.

I wouldn't argue with that, Doug. In fact, it's on my profile as one of my favourite films.

Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe. Has any film ever surpassed such eye candy?
