The first Europeans to settle in Wisconsin were Cornish lead miners. Originally, some of them and their families literally lived in caves as well as in the underground mines. They came to be called "Badgers".
So Wisconsin Badgers have nothing to do with those black-and-white brocks you feature today.

How do we know they are TEC badgers? Are they the first badgers in an openly gay relationship?
