We can have our yuks . . . but (w/o even checking the link) I'm guessing the Maltese Bishops (a far inferior sequel to Bogart's!) are speaking against the very possibility of (legal) divorce in Malta.
In Malta, in other words, they Popoids want to condemn you, regardless of circumstances, to life-long marriage (well, unless you're gay OF COURSE!)
You have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool those bishops.
