OVER AT ST. LAIKA'S AND THE ANCHORHOLD

I have cobbled together a service of daily prayer for the feast day of St. Simon and St. Jude and posted it at ST. LAIKA'S. It's rather lovely and I strongly suggest you pop over there and give it a listen. Maybe, you might even be moved to join in, especially if you need some encouragement to persevere in the Lord or, for that matter if you are a lost cause like me (as St. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes). With that in mind, please pray for Jim, JCF and myself as we continue to look for gainful employment and for our friend Mark as he struggles to get his life back together against considerable odds.

  4. JCF, I bet you were a star at the interview. If you don't get the job it won't have anything to do with your abilities. I expect you are used to that but it must still make you fucking angry.
