RECTOR'S
RAMBLINGS:
Always the sucker for the sad story, The Rectory acquired a new family member yesterday, who goes by the name of Simba.
Her life has not been easy, and she had to be be rescued from a house where she was being mistreated.
She'd lived in a bathroom, and was going to be used simply to breed and make some money for the owners. (She's already had a litter and she's barely a year old)
Bless her paws and whiskers and her rescuer.
ReplyDeleteThe poor thing.
ReplyDeleteWho? Father Kenny?
ReplyDeleteHe's not a poor thing. He's well looked after.
Now those are some seriously fine whiskers. (On the cat.)
ReplyDeleteA fine-looking and well-polished moggy, bless her. If you play your cards right you should have about 18 or 19 more years to make it up to her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful cat! I'm so glad that she has a good home now.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and the nice comment regarding my blogging anniversary.
ReplyDeleteSimba is so shiny and healthy looking! I know she is a lucky cat to have you taking care of her.
she is beautiful
ReplyDeleteLove those tuxedo cats -- ours is a sweetheart except if you try to pull her out from under the deck when she does not want to come in the house. But better that than getting eaten by an owl
ReplyDeleteSmoke and Sandstorm were rescues from an idiot who was into killing kittens. We have been rewarded with two lovely cats who come every morning to wake us with their purrs. Hope this adoption works out as well.

ReplyDeleteShe is a beauty, isn't she? She is also a very lucky girl to have landed in safe and loving hands.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sleek beauty. May she bring you much joy.
