Mrs. Caliban & I have been laughing out aloud as we watch this while the kids whine about us not getting them breakfast. I think the good Yeoman Warden would approve.
"This is a perfect example of the English sense of humour." . . . and yet I am quite certain I heard the words "speaking as an Irishman" during his Mel Gibson tirade.
These four videos were a hoot! The man is an English national treasure although he definitely states that he is an Irishman. I cannot believe that he would last a day in a comparable position in the United States. Any American employer would fire him for being politically incorrect, sometimes referred to as "honest".

ReplyDeleteI just watched all four of the videos. Thank you for making my day. I am stealing it. Have a good week-end. j
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely hilarious. Cynicism, sadism and very very accurate history all in one perfect video. Thanks so much MP.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I just got a free vacation! Sending it to all my college friends immediately. :D
ReplyDeleteI went through all four. An absolutely wonderful way to spend the morning. That fellow should take his act on the road. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant ... if only history had been taught to me this way when I was at school.
ReplyDeleteHistory was still happening when we were at school, SR :-)
