TWITFACE CHIT CHAT (4)

"TwitFace Chit Chat," is an occasional posting in which I simply give you a word, or short phrase, and you then just waffle on about the subject in any way you see fit. Nobody (except Grandmère Mimi and Cathy, of course) will be told off for going off thread.

If the number of comments on any one TwitFace post gets to fifty, all those who have commented will receive 500 days off purgatory. Should the comments ever reach one hundred I will grant all the participants a general plenary. Now, you don't get offers like that on Facebook!

Your subject for discussion today is:

MY WICKED SIDE

Off you go then!

  1. My wicked side would be my left side, obviously.

  2. I don't think we should be promoting one particular brand of sweet alcoholic beverage above another.

I'm with Liberace on this one: "Too much of a good thing is. . .wonderful."

I suppose excesses could become cloying after a while, but I've never had a chance to find out.

  6. Clearly, it's right here. At OCICBW.

  7. My Wicked Side? I prefer to keep it hidden and only expose it when I can give it another name like 'ignorance'.

  8. When I'm going through newly released records on the Internet, if there is a vocoder on any of them, I click on one star ("I hate it") every time. It's spiteful, it's unchristian and could possibly really depress the singer. I would hate it done to me.

But, I hate vocoders and it's a relatively benign outlet for my pent up anger.

  9. I'm left handed so my wicked side is my right side

  10. Or, alternatively, you are mostly wicked, Wendy and, along with all left-handed people, you should be burned as a witch

  11. I have been accused of having a wicked sense of humor but that begs a question, which side has the sense of humor? Confused is what I do best.

    FWIW

  12. "Wicked" was the all-purpose adjective (and adverb) for teenagers growing up in the Boston area in the 70's. So on my worst days I'm wicked wicked.

  13. Some would say that I have no wicked side because that would mean that I have some goodness somewhere...

wv, "asesogno": sound strangely like Italian, for "JCF Walks on the Wicked Side"! ;-D

  15. I got uncharacteristically snarky with a stranger/follower on Twitter yesterday; does that count as wicked? I came very close to using a bad word.
My really wicked moment came when I psychically messed with someone's dowsing rods at Glastonbury Abbey. He was doing really well until I am Ellie put the negative mojo on his copper rods. We wandered off sniggering quietly as he stood bemused by the misbehaving metal.
Come to think of it, corrupting my only child is probably quite wicked too, isn't it? The fact that she likes how she turned out is not mitigation...

  16. My wicked side is obviously whichever side I use to grope you with.

Is that wicked? Or just "social interaction"? I can never remember the finer points of definition.

  17. One man's social interaction is another man's trip to the county court. It is probably sensible to ask first. Something along the lines of, "Do you mind most awfully if I grope you, gorgeous," should give you the information required to decide your next action.
