"TwitChat," is a weekly posting in which I simply give you a word, or short phrase, and you then just waffle on about the subject in any way you see fit.
If the number of comments on any one TwitFace post gets to fifty, all those who have commented will receive 500 days off purgatory. Should the comments ever reach one hundred I will grant all the participants a general plenary. Now, you don't get offers like that on Facebook!
Your subject for discussion this week is:
ANIMAL STARS

I do not get the zebra reference since Mr. Ed was a Palomino horse. . .
ReplyDeleteMy first thought was Rin Tin Tin and then Lassie, a long lasting star who was played by many male Collies. Nary a female in the bunch! I always thought that was totally unfair.
How about Ursa Major?
ReplyDelete(You didn't, after all, define "stars". Yes, I know. You gave us the 'toon implying that you meant entertainer-type-stars. For the moment, however, I prefer to consider the celestial kind.)
Drat, Ellie, I came to comments ready to mention Sirius, the Dog Star.
ReplyDeleteWell! Great minds and all that, Harry! :-)
ReplyDeleteDang, I came here to post "Sirius", too! ;-X
ReplyDeleteOne of the more memorable dogs on TV, was the Bundy family dog, "Buck". When the four-legged actor (was) retired, they had a "Buck Goes to Dog Heaven" episode . . . only instead he reincarnated as the next Bundy family dog! (Complete w/ a "Nooooooooo!" Simultaneously *LOL* and sad-poignant "Awwww")
Animal stars? Only one comes to mind...
ReplyDeleteSkippy!
Skippy, Skippy
Skippy the bush kangaroo.
Skippy, Skippy
Skippy a friend ever true.
Animal from the muppets immediately comes to my mind.
ReplyDeleteBecause, well for a muppet, he was really an animal...
And there was Little Orphan Annie's dog Sandy! Arf(:>)

Um. I got nothin'.
ReplyDeleteNever was a big tv watcher or movie buff.
It looks like we will be all doing more time in purgatory if this is all we have...
ReplyDeleteI always liked that award-winning PBS television series "Wishbone" with the dog of the same name.
ReplyDeleteYou can read about it right here.
What? No love for Flipper?
ReplyDeleteI love Morris the Cat!
ReplyDeleteSkippy the Bush Kangaroo? ...
