Does anyone really want them to be like any other couple? It seems to me that what we all want is the show the pageantry and for the English a sense that the monarchy and with it the British tradition is continuing.
Oh we probably want William to be a bit nervous and his bride to worry about her look or to blush at some point. To that extent we want them to share what we feel / felt on our wedding days. But for heaven's sake she is becoming a princess -- a common fantasy for little girls world round. Why would we want them to be just like us?
