MADPRIEST'S (SCURRILOUS) THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

I notice that Rowan Williams is one of the main attractions at the Hay on Wye Book Festival this week. I suspect that this year he is not being honoured for being a poet or even for being a writer of theological books. Rather, it is as a creator of fiction that he is being hailed. And, surely there are few who can surpass him in the art.

Let's hope that Changing Attitude shows up to welcome him.

  3. I don't know why you're so surprised - what else could Rowan do after he and Sentamu found yellow cake uranium and weapons of mass destruction in Johns' room?
