From THE BBC:
A 39-year-old man from Sutton, St Helens who was arrested over the shooting of a cat with a crossbow bolt has been bailed pending further enquiries.
The cat, Spike, survived the attack after undergoing four hours of surgery. The bolt pierced the cat's face and came out through the back of his neck.

Soft hugs & kisses for little Spike. May his recovery be swift and may he find a very good, loving forever home with a family who will really love and appreciate him.
ReplyDeleteOK that said...
Joe has a crossbow. That thing packs more of a punch than a standard longbow or possibly even most compound bows. The one he owns has a draw weight of about...eh, 75 pounds. That is enough to put a bolt through an oak door.
This guy lives where again...I feel a need to go hunting...
Lowest, hottest regions of hell.
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
Horrible.
ReplyDeleteWishing Tracie and Joe the very best of luck on their hunting expedition!
ReplyDelete(Poor kittie! What's wrong with some people that they feel a need to do things like this?)
Coat shooter's b@lls w/ catnip, and let Spike PLAY!!!
ReplyDeleteTracie, Good Hunting! Anyone who would do that to a cat has given up their right to live.
ReplyDeleteFWIW
