Ellie is celebrating Ascension Day with a post entitled "Ah, Diversity" over at THE ANCHORHOLD @ OCICBW..." It seems to have something to do with a highland cow.
Thank you so much for pulling out all the stops for Ascension Day. As it happens, I chose Ascension propers for my Solemn Profession and so, although the calendar date is April 12, I really think of today as the liturgical anniversary of my profession. (My piety has long been centered on a devotion to the Ascended Christ...I have clear reasons for that, of course, but I'll have to share that in a more developed way some other time.)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I think I'll manage to update The Anchorhold a bit later today so that my Ascension offering doesn't REALLY end up being about cows! :-)
