From THE TIMES OF INDIA:
The two-day regional CBSE science exhibition concluded in Ludhiana on Wednesday. Around 150 CBSE schools from Punjab, Himachal, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir participated in the exhibition.
Carmel Convent School student Pranvika Bedi had shown how a cow's burp could be helpful in generating fuel and electricity. "With the help of mask this burp is stored, filtered and liquefied and then used as fuel to generate electricity. I will improvise mask for national exhibition," said Priyanka.
COMMENT: Erm? I can see a slight problem with this otherwise excellent invention. With a mask over her mouth how on earth is the poor cow going to eat anything?

I know several humans who could benefit humanity with this device!
ReplyDeleteYes, SR. Especially if the young man can invent a similar device for the trouser end of things.
ReplyDeleteYes, MP, I thought that the methane from cows that could be used for fuel came from the other end. Perhaps cattle operate differently i India due to religious strictures.
ReplyDeleteMMmmmmmm...I just loves me some bovine bondage and discipline...
