The wearing of stoles or scarves over just a clerical shirt or, even, just a black cassock, is an abomination before the Lord. I don't care how gay, lesbian or in touch with the youth you are - DON'T DO IT!
Well, I like the bright colors. Reminds me of when the city of Orlando put big rainbow flags up on every light pole downtown, to celebrate Pride Day. The flags looked so very cheerful!
AWh...go on...that natty one on the left even looks like its been hand embroidered - with love. I think fringes or pom poms would have been too much, though.
I think it looks quite festive! So for those clergy who may be reading this and wondering "should I do it too" I say "YES DO IT!"
