The MadPriests spent today with Viv from ZEN AND THE ART OF TIGHTROPE WALKING and the living saint she shacks up with. It was a lovely day and Viv has given me some good ideas for future projects (which may even bring some money into the MadPriest household).
Yesterday, I managed to walk through the door of a church and attend a communion service. I had contacted the vicar beforehand because my research indicated that he was of the right sort and he looked out for me on the day. I enjoyed myself. I have been invited to a different church (it never rains but it pours) and I think I will go there next Sunday. I have decided to enjoy the process of finding a new home (or more than one home) rather than be scared by the thought of it.
Thanks for all your advice. Sometimes (okay, usually) I take my time coming to decisions but, believe me, without you help I would never make any at all.
That's good news, MadPriest. Well done.
ReplyDeleteLovely. All of it. Sometimes there really is light at the end of the tunnel.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is so good! I am happy that you are happy with it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the good news. I'm happy for you!
ReplyDeleteO Happy Day! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood on you, MadOne.

ReplyDeleteSounds of cheering and jumping up and down and clapping coming from the far regions of western Canada...
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear this.
ReplyDeleteIt was Thanksgiving today, in Canada. Now I have one more thing to give thanks for. :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm so delighted to read this!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant.
ReplyDeleteFantastic news! Even those of us who don't comment much have been praying (and will continue to pray) for you.
ReplyDeleteYou went to church?! AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteGiven that I am the human incarnation of a big clumsy Labrador puppy, I wish I could jump thru the computer and hug you, but that puts you off your breakfast, so I won't.
But I can be thrilled for you, right?!

PS: I knew there was an inner Viking somewhere in your soul that was not about to let anything stand between you and Holy Eucharist. :D

From Joe: "Your inner Viking was saying 'well that IS where they keep the loot!'"
ReplyDeleteBlame him, not me! I just hope it makes you laugh. :D
