BBC PC GONE MAD

The BBC have announced that they will no longer allow the word "banker" or derivatives such as "bankas" to be broadcast on its networks unless spoken by an employee of a financial institution. A spokesman for the corporation stated that the word was "unacceptable" as it was now used only in an abusive manner although among tellers on the high street it was sometimes used in an ironic way as it was on many of the tracks on the 2011 hit album, "It Costs A Nation Billions To Bail Us Out," by monetarist rap posse, Lloyd Barclay and the Santanders.

GOD'S JUST GOTTA HAVE FUN

LOUD FRIDAY

Something a bit different this week. In stead of the usual hardcore punk sounds I am treating you to some real heavy, electric blues with a side plate of country, boogie woogie. All done as if the 80s, 90s, and Noughties never happened.

Buffalo’s Handsome Jack are not only keenly recreating the kind of punk-imbibed, sleazoid blooze and 1970s rock and roll that boomingly poured out—along with certain kind of thick, thick smoke—from the shag-carpeted interiors of kustom vans so many years ago. In playing their power-loaded riff rock, they also prove to be real believers and practitioners of the too often lost ethos of that era. That means shrugging off the notion of long gaps between putting out records as well as eagerly packing their guitars and drums like long-haired rock gypsies and taking their grift to the road. FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT?

From THE LOCAL (Switzerland):

Physicists reported on Thursday that sub-atomic particles called neutrinos can travel faster than light. In experiments conducted between the European Centre for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Switzerland and a laboratory in Italy, the tiny particles were clocked at 300,006 kilometres per second, about six km/sec faster that the speed of light, the researchers said.

Scientists spent nearly six months "checking, testing, controlling and rechecking everything" before making an announcement. The findings, they said, could potentially reshape our understanding of the physical world. Under Albert Einstein's theory of special relativity, however, a physical object cannot travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum.

COMMENT: It wouldn't surprise me if the findings are correct. I have long had a suspicion that Einstein may have been wrong about what happens if a particle was to travel faster than the speed of light. Perhaps all that happens is that the particle becomes invisible.

Of course, there are other possible explanations for the results. Maybe the neutrinos took a more direct route than the light took. Maybe they jumped part of the way (popping in and out of existence). Or, as the scientists themselves suggest, "It could simply mean that the speed of light is not the speed limit we thought it was."

Whatever, if these results are not just the product of a measurement error, they will highlight what I perceive to be a methodological error at the heart of modern science. In my opinion, science should be about observance first and explanation should come after. But, nowadays, especially within the discipline of physics, the mathematics come first and then scientists try to prove the mathematics by observation (the, so far unsuccessful, search for the Higgs Boson being a prime example of this method). There are two problems with doing science this way. Firstly, the public (and, no matter what they might say, many scientists as well) start believing the possibility to be a reality before there is any physical evidence. Secondly, theories can become so revered by the scientific community that any challenges to them are viewed as heresy (and even the Spanish Inquisition couldn't compare in savagery to academia when it comes to making people follow the party line). This second problem means that possible discoveries are delayed, or even never happen. For example, I believe that random matings cannot be the only mechanism for evolutionary change, that we are missing something really big because scientists are scared to challenge this shibboleth of secular scientism.

But it's not only scientists who are guilty of putting the cart before the horse. I think this practice is also a methodological error within the discipline of theology. Most of what religious people claim to be the attributes of the gods are just based on theories. The problem is that humans, who have a strong tendency to seek immediate definition, can easily fall into the error of revering the theories of their religions so much that they never discover new and/or true things about their gods. The Bible is full of theories about God. By giving the Bible the status of God (the fourth person of the Trinity), evangelicals have caged God and have made it nearly impossible for theologians to find out new things about God through observation. When they do discover something about God, if it contradicts the theories of the Biblical writers, their discoveries are ignored and great effort is put into disparaging the theologians concerned. It is the same within Orthodoxy and Roman Catholicism except that the Bible is replaced, to a large part, by the traditions of the churches.

We cannot see if we refuse to look. We will never discover the truth unless we allow those brave enough to gaze outside of the box of orthodoxy (theological and/or scientific) full permission to do so. Above all, we should trust our eyes, so to speak. If neutrinos appear to be traveling faster than the speed of light, they probably are. If God appears to bless loving relationships between two people of the same sex, God probably does.

COME ON MONSTERS!
YOU DON'T HAVE TO CRY.
WE CAN BE HAPPY.

I never understood why the members of R.E.M. hated their hit single, "Shiny Happy People" so much. Personally, I think it is one of the most perfect pop songs ever released.

This is, without doubt, the definitive version of the song. The R.E.M. boys really bring out the true meaning of the lyrics and Kate Pierson has never looked so good. An iconic performance.

FOR YOUR PRAYERS

Posted by Liz at FINDING LIFE HARD?:

Husband is worse again today. As I write this, at 10.00 pm on Thursday night, I'm waiting to hear if the surgeon has decided to operate tonight or tomorrow or not.

On the positive side, Daughter had her 20-week scan today and all is well and growing as it should. They decided not to find out the sex of the baby and I'm pleased about that.

On a less pleasant side, tomorrow I go for my routine mammogram. Boobs squeezed between 2 metal plates until you think they can't can't squeeze them any more. And then they do. Joy.

LEAVE IT LAY WHERE JESUS FLANG IT:

I suppose my mood is not enhanced by the news Joel got yesterday. After six days of tests, they found nothing wrong with his heart, they discharged him. But the pain was still present, and getting worse. We finally got a doctor to pay attention, and they called him in for a simple x-ray and his spine is fractured and a small portion of the lower lobe of his left lung is collapsed. So, today we will deal with more imaging techniques to get the goods on his spine, more drugs to deal with the pain, and then see what cooks.

KLEPTOMANIAC ENTERTAINER
TOO CHEAP TO BUY
CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

From THE PRESS ASSOCIATION:

Myleene Klass has confessed that she stole toilet roll from the Pope's Italian summer retreat whilst filming there with the BBC.

She said: "I made Christmas presents out of it. I stuck a piece of tissue, and I'd write, 'Papal loo roll; a tissue. Bless you.' It's very special because it's got papal wreaths embossed all over it in little green laurel leaves."

COMMENT: I worked in a large office building once. In the gent's we had nice, soft, two-ply toilet paper. In the lady's they had to put up with that scratchy, Izal stuff because if they put nice paper in there the women would nick it and take it home with them.

MAD DAD'S JOKE OF THE DAY

My budgie broke his leg today, so I made him a little splint out of a couple of "strike anywhere" matches. His little face lit up when he tried to walk.

MUTE MONK JOKE

THE INEVITABLE DISAPPOINTMENT OF REVENGE

From THE BOSTON HERALD:

The mother of a slain Georgia police officer says she can’t believe that the execution of Troy Davis has taken place 22 years after he was convicted of killing her son. Anneliese MacPhail told The Associated Press that the feelings of relief and peace she has been waiting for all these years will come later. She says she is numb right now.

COMMENT: And, if she is lucky she will remain numb. If she is unlucky she will start feeling guilt and remorse. The two things she will never experience are the feelings of relief and peace. Revenge doesn't work like that. Peace is the fruit of forgiveness.

PRIMATES IN CHARGE

THINKING ANGLICANS have posted a report on the Global South primates' communique following their recent visit to China. It's the usual tub thumping but one particular sentence leapt off the page and grabbed my attention:

We have devoted much time to discuss the Anglican Communion Covenant and the Preamble by the Province of South East Asia documenting the historical events leading up to the Covenant and insisting that the Primates should be the proper moral and spiritual authority for the monitoring of the Covenant.

One of the main reasons that those of us who oppose the covenant are so fearful of its implementation is that it is obviously part of Rowan Williams' plan to place all the authority of the Anglican Communion, for all intents and purposes, into the hands of a caucus of primates with the Archbishop of Canterbury becoming an Anglican pope. The above statement proves that he has plenty of support for his plans.

I have said all along that anti-covenanters in England should be concentrating on making sure the laity fully understand that the adoption of the covenant will mean that they will be told what to think and what to believe by a small group of people, most of whom will be from cultures very different to their own. Okay, like laity everywhere, they will no doubt just ignore any instructions they don't like. But, priests do not have the same privilege as their jobs depend, even now, on towing the company line. So, at the very least, the laity of the Church of England are going to have to put up with disillusioned, broken priests preaching creationism, the innerancy of scripture, the subjugation of women and the condemnation of gay people from their pulpits every Sunday.

Far from being the salvation of Anglicanism in England, the covenant will destroy what is left of it. Mainstream, English Anglicans are not credulous bigots at heart and most of them will not hang around an institution which has voted itself into unenlightened irrelevancy. Nobody wants to be despised and if the Church of England adopts the world view of a bunch of tin pot tribal chiefs who believe that women should do as they are told by their men and that gay people should be executed, then it certainly is going to be despised by the rest of English society.

CRITTERS OF THE DAY

From THE TELEGRAPH:

Five week-old squirrels were found in the aftermath of the gale-force winds that hit the UK last week, with their mother nowhere to be seen. They were taken to a veterinary surgery in Alnwick before being delivered to the animal welfare centre at Ulgham near Morpeth, where volunteers now feed them goat's milk every three hours and will continue to look after them through winter.

***

From THE NEW YORK DAILY NEWS:

Jamey Rodemeyer, a 14-year-old boy who once recorded an anti-bullying message, was remembered at a vigil two days after taunts from his schoolmates led the teen to commit suicide. Jamey, whose parents says he was targeted by school bullies over his sexuality, was found dead outside his family's home on Sunday.

"He touched so many hearts, so many people," his mother, Tracy Rodemeyer, told the Buffalo News. "I didn't realize how many people he touched. He was the sweetest, kindest kid you'd ever know."

In his blog, Rodemeyer wrote painfully about his life including one message posted just days before his suicide.

"I always say how bullied I am, but no one listens. What do I have to do so people will listen to me?"

From Tim:

I live and minister in the Williamsville, NY area, not far from the school Jamey attended. This is not the first suicide in the area, as you might imagine. Please pray for his middle-school principal who is a member of my church who has worked very hard with Jamey and has an excellent relationship with his parents. She's been receiving lots of hate email, blaming her for his death. I guess bullying comes in many forms.

Oh dear. Jessica is obviously a sweet young thing. If only she had a friend who dared tell her the truth.

An easy 200 days off purgatory if you listen all the way through.

Hang on a second! Aren't they tulips?

WHOOPS!

From an Australian correspondent:

Just wanted to let you know that "65 roses" is local slang for the fatal childhood condition cystic fibrosis, from which the poor kid gasping this out suffers.

This was released as an (admittedly nigh-unlistenable) Oz fundraiser, and I believe gained attention because she’d just undergone a lung transplant which was hoped to extend her life by about 10 years or so. Hence nobody wanted to say the obvious “singing’s not your strong point”.

Well, at least I paid for it.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Concerning the murder of Troy Davis:

"What we have had is a manufactured appearance of doubt which has taken on the quality of legitimate doubt itself. And all of it is exquisitely unfair," said Mr. Lawton, who retired as Chatham County's head prosecutor in 2008. "The good news is we live in a civilized society where questions like this are decided based on fact in open and transparent courts of law, and not on street corners."

COMMENT: I'm sorry, and I know I will be accused of being an arrogant European for this, but on this side of the Atlantic the USA is not regarded as a civilised society, and you will not be until you stop judicial murder, imprisonment without trial and letting people, who could be cured, die because they haven't got the necessary insurance. America is like the Roman Empire - it has great central heating, marvellous literature and social mobility but it still thinks killing people in the arena is morally justified and good fun.

CAT OF THE DAY

From Tracie:

WOMEN BISHOPS AND THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND
- MADPRIEST'S PERFECTLY SENSIBLE IDEA

Yesterday, both here and on Facebook, I congratulated the United States for finally getting rid of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" from their armed forces. I did, of course, point out that here in England we have been open about such things for quite some time now. To which, my friend, Larry, replied "What about women bishops, then?"

Yes. It has to be admitted, that although we have very few objections to homosexuality in England (our private schools, top universities, seminaries and, of course, our secret intelligence service, have, in fact, been actively encouraging it for hundreds of years), we do still have enormous problems with female sexuality, especially within the Church of England. It has always been the belief of the Church that because Jesus and his disciples were all gay men that only gay men should be ordained priests in the Church of England. About twenty years ago, after close examination of Leonardo Da Vinci's "Last Woking Lunch" painting, our theologians announced that the "beloved disciple" was not Jesus's gentleman friend, John, but was, in fact, Mary Magdalene. This led to Archbishop George Carey telling us we had to "put up" with women being priests from then on. Most of us agreed with this new thing but, as Jesus was most definitely a man (the proof being that he had a beard) a lot of the church's members are still very much against the idea of women bishops.

Discussions regarding the ordination of women to the episcopacy seem to have reached a stalemate. Or rather, they had until yesterday when my conversation with Larry led to me having a brilliant idea. The United States armed forces didn't jump straight from "no gays" to "yes gays." They first went through a period of getting used to the idea of gay people being allowed to serve (a period of reception) in which they abided by the policy of "Don't ask, don't tell."

Why don't we do the same in the Church of England?

I suggest that, for the time being, as long as female bishops don't publicly admit to being women they should be allowed to serve in the English episcopacy.

Hey! I've cracked it, haven't I?

From CBS NEWS:

Chad Gandiya, Zimbabwe's top Anglican bishop, said Tuesday that Nolbert Kunonga, an excommunicated church leader close to the country's president, has taken over an orphanage housing 80 children. Worshippers now congregate instead under the shade of trees beside a dirt road.

We pray that Rowan Williams' official visit to Zimbabwe, and his meeting with Mugabe, in October, will result in an end to Kunonaga and Mugabe's campaign of hatred against the Anglican church rather than becoming just a propaganda opportunity for the Zimbabwe government as is presently feared.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

"First Comes Marriage, Then Comes Love" by the Reverend Susan Brown Snook, posted at A GOOD AND JOYFUL THING.

Love is not a feeling. Love is a series of decisions, and a lifetime full of actions. Love is something you decide to do every day, no matter what you feel. And in doing it, in loving your neighbor as yourself, in making the good of your spouse your highest priority, you will learn to experience love at a whole new level, far beyond mere feelings.

Good stuff. As is the whole article. Go read!

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS
FORCED SAME SEX MARRIAGE

WHY GOING TO SCHOOL IS SO IMPORTANT

From THIS DAY LIVE:

Peeved by the growing malaise of sexual immorality in the country, Primate, Church of Nigeria, the Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Nicholas D. Okoh, has described the practice of homosexuality, lesbianism and gay marriage as great evils that must neither be condoned nor allowed to further exist in our society.

Primate Okoh, who spoke Sunday in Owa, the headquarters of Ika North-east Local Government Area of Delta State during the marriage ceremony between Princess Ewere Efeizomor and Dr. Jimoh Onaivi, stated that homosexuality, lesbianism and same-sex marriage was not the original plan of God.

Primate Okoh, who also lamented the state of insecurity in the country evidenced by the frequent cases of bomb blasts in some parts, said when God created man, he (man) was in the mist of animals and he did not find a companion among them, which necessitated the creation of a woman as a help mate for him, as God had arranged man and woman to co-habit.

“I want to draw you attention to what is becoming acceptable in some quarters which we must not accept. What is being known now as gay and homosexuality is contrary to God’s plan for human sexuality and procreation. It is against the will of God, and nobody should encourage it, and those who do will earn for themselves the damnation of the Almighty.

“It’s through marriage that people should enter into true sexual life. It’s not the process of re-inventing the third person* because God did not invent the marriage between two same-sex persons as the cases in homosexuality and lesbianism.” He admonished those practising it to repent and come out of it because it’s evil.

The cleric argued that if God considered that yet another man was what Adam needed as companion and help mate in the Garden of Eden, He would have created another man, not a woman for Adam, stressing that, “He did not do that but rather created a unique person in the form of a woman different from the man.”

He lamented that there is moral decadence pervading the labyrinth of society in so much a way that hitherto despicable acts like lesbianism and homosexuality are gradually being decorated with public appeal and now receiving tolerance and even applause in today’s society.

“Men have fashioned out different forms of marriages for themselves called trial marriages, where couples decide to live together for a specific period of time to see whether they are compatible or not,” adding that, “marriage is an act of faith, as it should be the way God has designed it,” he said.

He pointed out that marriage is a purposeful and beautiful arrangement made by God to cure the element of loneliness in Adam, so that whatever might be their need, they both could solve it together.

* I assume this is a reference to polygamy.

FOR YOUR PRAYERS

I learned this morning that my sister's beloved golden, Jack, crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully in his sleep last night. He was almost 12, and very arthritic. He may have known his end was near; he was inexplicably needy last night although not acting like he was in physical discomfort.

He was the sweetest dog, even a tad sweeter than our own golden. He was a loyal protector of all children, and provided companionship for my 89 y.o. mom when my sis and B-I-L weren't at home. He was a favorite of the mail carriers and received a cookie daily. Mom's front porch will never be the same.

A SERVICE OF HOLY COMMUNION
THE THIRTEENTH SUNDAY AFTER TRINITY

All are welcome to join me in taking communion. There are no exceptions.

The order of service is posted beneath the audio file so that you can join in with the service. The words in bold type are the ones we say together.

If you want to physically partake of communion you will require a small piece of bread and a small amount of drink (preferably made from grapes and containing alcohol). You eat the bread after I say “The body of Christ,” and drink the wine after I say “The blood of Christ.” How you view the nature of this part of the service is completely up to you.

INTRODUCTION

"Working Class Hero " - John Lennon

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

"The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest."

Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Almighty God, to whom all hearts are open, all desires known, and from whom no secrets are hidden: cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy name; through Christ our Lord.  Amen.

In the presence of God we call to mind our sins and we ask God to forgive us and to help us forgive others.

The Lord is merciful to all;
we seek vengeance for the merest sleight.
Lord have mercy.

The kingdom of heaven is open to all;
we tell people they cannot go in.
Christ have mercy.

All are equal and beautiful in God's sight;
we are arrogant of own worth and blind to the worth of others.
Lord have mercy.

May God forgive us and help us to know that we are forgiven. Amen.

"Psalm 145" - The Schola Cantorum Of St. Peter's In The Loop

I will exalt you, O God my King,
and bless your name for ever and ever.

Every day will I bless you
and praise your name for ever and ever.

Great is the Lord and highly to be praised;
his greatness is beyond all searching out.

One generation shall praise your works to another
and declare your mighty acts.

They shall speak of the majesty of your glory,
and I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

They shall speak of the might of your marvellous acts,
and I will also tell of your greatness.

They shall pour forth the story of your abundant kindness
and joyfully sing of your righteousness.

The Lord is gracious and merciful,
long-suffering and of great goodness.

The Lord is loving to everyone
and his mercy is over all his creatures.

All your works praise you, O Lord,
and your faithful servants bless you.

They tell of the glory of your kingdom
and speak of your mighty power,

To make known to all peoples your mighty acts
and the glorious splendour of your kingdom.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom;
your dominion endures throughout all ages.

The Lord is sure in all his words
and faithful in all his deeds.

The Lord upholds all those who fall
and lifts up all those who are bowed down.

The eyes of all wait upon you, O Lord,
and you give them their food in due season.

You open wide your hand
and fill all things living with plenty.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways
and loving in all his works.

The Lord is near to those who call upon him,
to all who call upon him faithfully.

He fulfils the desire of those who fear him;
he hears their cry and saves them.

The Lord watches over those who love him,
but all the wicked shall he destroy.

My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord,
and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

Alleluia.

Glory to you, O Lord.

GOSPEL

This is the Gospel of the Lord.
Praise to you, O Christ.

SERMON

We believe in God the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.

We believe in God the Son,
who lives in our hearts through faith, and fills us with his love.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit,
who strengthens us with power from on high.

We believe in God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

INTERCESSIONS
"Blessed Are Those Who Are Persecuted,
For Theirs Is The Kingdom Of God" - Joel Asher

THE PEACE

"There's A Wideness In God's Mercy" - Belfast Cathedral Choir

There’s a wideness in God’s mercy,
Like the wideness of the sea;
There’s a kindness in His justice,
Which is more than liberty.

There is no place where earth’s sorrows
Are more felt than up in Heaven;
There is no place where earth’s failings
Have such kindly judgment given.

For the love of God is broader
Than the measure of our mind;
And the heart of the Eternal
Is most wonderfully kind.

But we make His love too narrow
By false limits of our own;
And we magnify His strictness
With a zeal He will not own.

There is plentiful redemption
In the blood that has been shed;
There is joy for all the members
In the sorrows of the Head.

There is grace enough for thousands
Of new worlds as great as this;
There is room for fresh creations
In that upper home of bliss.

If our love were but more simple,
We should take Him at His word;
And our lives would be all gladness
In the joy of Christ our Lord.

PRAYER OVER THE GIFT

The Lord is here.
God's Spirit is with us.

Lift up your hearts.
We lift them to the Lord.

Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give thanks and praise.

Eternal God…
…we take up the song of your praise:

Holy, holy, holy Lord!  God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highes!

We ask that your Holy Spirit…
… beyond all words can hold.

Great is the mystery of faith
Christ has died,
Christ is risen,
Christ will come again.

Therefore, in our eating and drinking…
…Mother of blessings, for ever and ever. Amen.

Let us pray with confidence as our Saviour has taught us:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.

We break this bread to share in the body of Christ.
Though we are many, we are one body, because we all share in one bread.

Lamb of God,
you take away the sin of the world,
have mercy on us.

Lamb of God,
you take away the sin of the world,
have mercy on us.

Lamb of God,
you take away the sin of the world,
grant us peace.

This is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
Blessed are those who are called to his supper.
Lord, I am not worthy to receive you,
but only say the word, and I shall be healed.

Most merciful Lord,  your love compels us to come in. Our hands were unclean, our hearts were unprepared;  we were not fit  even to eat the crumbs from under your table. But you, Lord, are the God of our salvation, and share your bread with sinners. So cleanse and feed us with the precious body and blood of your Son, that he may live in us and we in him; and that we, with the whole company of Christ, may sit and eat in your kingdom. Amen.

The body of Christ.

The blood of Christ.

POST COMMUNION PRAYER

"I Want To Be A Worker For The Lord"
- Dallas Christian Adult Concert Choir

I want to be a worker for the Lord,
I want to love and trust His holy Word,
I want to sing and pray,
Be busy every day
In the vineyard of the Lord.

I will work, I will pray,
In the vineyard, in the vineyard of the Lord.
I will work, I will pray.
I will labor every day, in the vineyard of the Lord.

I want to be a worker every day,
I want to lead the erring in the way
That leads to Heav’n above,
Where all is peace and love,
In the vineyard of the Lord.

I will work, I will pray,
In the vineyard, in the vineyard of the Lord.
I will work, I will pray.
I will labor every day, in the vineyard of the Lord.

I want to be a worker strong and brave,
I want to trust in Jesus’ pow’r to save;
All who will truly come
Shall find a happy home
In the vineyard of the Lord.

I will work, I will pray,
In the vineyard, in the vineyard of the Lord.
I will work, I will pray.
I will labor every day, in the vineyard of the Lord.

I want to be a worker; help me, Lord,
To lead the lost and erring to Thy Word,
That points to joys on high
Where pleasures never die,
In the vineyard of the Lord.

I will work, I will pray,
In the vineyard, in the vineyard of the Lord.
I will work, I will pray.
I will labor every day, in the vineyard of the Lord.

THE BLESSING

My sisters and brothers, go in the peace of Christ.
Thanks be to God.
