Here in my burg of Sacra-tomato, a leading charity for the homeless, Francis House (BEGUN by St Francis RC parish), has just had its funding cut-off by the RC diocese.
What's their "crime"? Having a director (a Methodist clergywoman) who has *previously* stated her support for abortion rights and {Quelle Horror!} married same-sex couples in 2008.
Because of course, the HOMELESS (with which Sacramento is overflowing) should suffer for one non-RC's non-RC-approved views. Riiiight. Kyrie eleison...
