Well, I have no sympathy for the cardinal. He and is partner should have planned it themselves instead of handing everything over to some overpaid wedding planner. I bet she was straight. That would explain everything.
There's a comedy show in the US, "Keye & Peele", which is making fun of precisely this "plans for gay marriage" thing. The Reality that---esp. as SSM spreads---many longtime same-sex couples are having to go from "What if?" to "Now that we can, shall we?"
[I can think of several of our OCICBW friends upon whose marital plans we are still a-waiting! But, no pressure... ;-/]
O/T but I knew you'd like this one: Dog survives 53 days in Nevada desert. Really astonishing that he survived, the desert is a brutal place for a pet.
