Sex & God & Rock & Roll
Oh dear, what was the editor thinking. A public service like yours, MP, should teach them something about thinking before publishing, unless they intend the double entendre.
I think American publishers should employ ex-pat English people to sub-edit for them. I'm not saying that Americans don't get double entendre, they do as their love of "Are You Being Served" demonstrates. But the English have the inherent ability to find innuendo in absolutely anything. I would refer you to the "That sounds a bit rude" episode of Blackadder.
Oh, mercy! That has GOT to be intentional!(Or else, I'll bet that headline writer is fired soon....)
I'm pretty sure it was intentional. It sounds too much like Dan Savage not to be.
Innuendo is at its best when there is doubt.
An "Alabama three-way" is still outlawed in all 49 other States. Thankfully! [Involves a frothi-er mixture of santorum and crimson tide }-X ]
