Mrs MP had exactly the same problem seeing it as Chelliah. Perhaps it is a male brain v. female brain thing. Something to do with spatial awareness maybe.
I only said "perhaps." I've lived with female brains for over 52 years now and I still have absolutely no idea how they work. All I've managed is to pick up a few clues along the way as to when it's best to say noting and when it's best to have something very urgent to do in another town.
It's best we not be aware of the homophobes - Life is tidier that way, don't you think?
ReplyDeleteConsidering the sort of bishops they've had of late, an International Day against...Durham seems like a pretty good idea.
ReplyDeleteWhat am I missing here? The ad is right. If it had stated 'International Day for Homophobia' then it would be supporting hate crime.
ReplyDeleteChelliah, the day is apparently set aside to be "against homophobia awareness."

ReplyDeleteAnd you've again confirmed, MP, that (in terms of my brain) the doofus who stamped an "F" on my birth certificate had it wrong.
ReplyDeleteI realized the mistake, but didn't comment. Is that a female trait too?

ReplyDeleteVery astute of you MP!
