A Church of England judge has over ridden protest and paved the way for the font to be moved at an Aston-by Stone church to make room for new toilet facilities and other improvements. Three parishioners had objected to the proposal, claiming it would “spoil” the beautiful Grade II listed St Saviour’s church.
Well, if they've been using the font then this is an improvement that cannot be made too quickly. How uncouth!
