ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! People often ask me and my husband the secret of our happy 14-yr marriage and I say "A common enemy" - thought we were the only ones :) Keep fighting the good fight.
ReplyDeleteNo, Jendi. I discovered very early on that common hatreds are they key to a successful mariage. If you are having a blazing row with each other you can easily stop it by blaming it all onto a mutually detested third party. My favourite is Margaret Thatcher. I pretty much blame her for everything wrong in the world.
