Oh, they're everywhere. In fact, most of the ones who I get grief from are from the United States. For a land of the free there ain't half a lot of things they can't say.
I was referring to their descendants in North America, too, and in Australia and New Zealand. The same vapid, simpering primness; the same "I'm not doing this for me but to be a voice for the voiceless" attitude. Vegans, Birkenstock and anorak wearing, you name it.
