This is because the Washington Redskins lost their game against the Carolina Panthers on Nov. 4th, the Sunday prior to the Presidential election.
The Redskin Rule, which has only been broken once in something like 60 years, goes like this: if the Redskins win on the Sunday prior to the Presidential election, the incumbent party stays in office. If they lose on the Sunday prior to the Presidential election, the incumbent party loses the White House.

ReplyDeleteSo far, it looks like a Romney win.
